Bali-based experimental streetwear brand Future Loundry has announced an exciting new collaboration with Irish post-punk outfit Fontaines D.C. The announcement was shared on Wednesday (May 29) via their official Threads account, @future_loundry.
In the post, Future Loundry revealed their direct involvement in shaping the band’s latest visual identity. “FUTURE LOUNDRY is directly involved in crafting the style statement for Irish band @fontainesband,” the post read. “For their album promo, our designs have been chosen as the perfect visual identity to complement the message of their music.”
This bold partnership aligns seamlessly with Fontaines D.C.’s recent aesthetic pivot for their Romance album era, which perfectly matches Future Loundry’s signature design language. In the same post, the brand gave a shout-out to Randy Danistha, keyboardist of the legendary Indonesian pop-rock band Nidji, who highlighted the Irish band’s massive following in Indonesia. “We were amazed when @randydanistha let us know how huge Fontaines D.C.’s fan base is here in Indonesia,” the caption read.
Future Loundry didn’t stop there; they also teased an upcoming project with Nidji. “And next, we are proud to share that we are also working on the new style identity for @nidjiofficial… incredibly proud,” they added.

Founded in 2019 by Bali-based artist Ican Harem, Future Loundry is an experimental streetwear brand known for its sustainable ethos. The label consistently upcycles secondhand garments and rejected textiles sourced from Denpasar’s local Kreneng Market. This artsy, eco-conscious approach has captured the attention of global musicians, with their pieces previously worn by Indonesian rapper Rich Brian and British neo-soul singer Greentea Peng.
Meanwhile, Fontaines D.C. has undergone a radical stylistic shift since the release of their mid-2024 album, Romance. Moving away from the casual, clean-cut look of their 2019 debut Dogrel, the five-piece band has embraced a chaotic, eclectic style featuring leather jackets, athleisure, oversized trousers, heavy eyeliner, and neon-dyed hair. With a packed tour schedule running through August and September, fans can expect to see Fontaines D.C. rocking the stage in Future Loundry’s signature cyberpunk, dystopian, and futuristic aesthetic.
